Dead Easy Beer Bread Recipe

Today, we’re here to yield an amazingly flavorsome and tasteful kind of bread that is sweet and easy-to-make at the same time! With just 6 basic ingredients and several simple steps, you will be able to enjoy the beautiful aroma of your favorite beer.

  • 3 cups all-purpose flour (sifted)
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tablespoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 3-4 tablespoons butter (melted and unsalted)
  • 1 can (12 oz.) fine beer (stored at a room temperature)

First, preheat your oven to 375°F. Then, stir together sifted flour, salt and baking powder in a big cup. Add some butter and beer that you’ve kept at a room temperature and work them for at least 10 minutes. Make sure that your stuff is at the right thickness and soft enough to shape with ease.

If you use an electric mixer, after you prepare your machine with a dough-kit, put sifted flour, salt and baking powder in the container. Add some butter and beer that you’ve kept at a room temperature and mix them for about 5 minutes. (If needed, you’re free to add some water during the mixing process as well.)

Cover the work in a container and leave the end product to ferment itself at a room temperature for about 4 hours. (By this means, the dough will be able to double in its size.)

Then, on your kitchen top, roll up your dough to make a puff in shape of bread. Dust some flour on your sheet pan and put the bread on it carefully. Give it 2 more hours for the second fermentation.

To provide some steam to your oven, don’t forget to put 1/2 glass (well-protected) water at the back of it.

Cut several lines on the bread parallel to each other. After then, bake it for about 30 minutes (until you see it’s topside well-roasted).

In the end, you should have a thick and flavorsome bread. With the help of a plastic knife, put it onto a cooling table for chilling. After 30-40 minutes of waiting, slice the bread and serve with your favorite soup. Enjoy!
